The question I am about to ask you has been asked one thousand different ways, in one million different languages, by one billion different people. It is a simple enough question, but one that is nearly impossible to answer correctly. I can remember when you could go up to any person on the street, ask the question, and basically get the same answer every time, but nowadays there are so many answers, I don't bother to ask.

What is an Angel? A long time ago you could ask this and get someone to quote the Holy Bible, and probably get lost in the Nativity story. These days' people have nearly forgotten about the angels, they are like foot-soldiers, the front line on the war against evil. Now, what would you do it I told you that I am, well was an angel? Lock me up and throw away the key, right? Well, before you run for the phone, hear me out. I can still remember what it was like to fly about the clouds in my beloved Shangri-La. And I stupidly took it all for granted while I was there.

Before I get ahead of myself, let me tell you who I am. My name isn't important. The only thing that is important to you is that I am a Juggalette, and that from the beginning of time (yes I was there), until about twenty two years ago I resided in Shangri-La.

At this time I feel compelled to tell you that I am not the only "fallen angel" as we are so fondly called, but I am one of the extreme few that still remember their home. We all go by one name, serve a purpose, love each other, and by some weird, heavenly force, we are all drawn to each other. The name we all go by is that of the Juggalo. If you are a Juggalo, try to think back, have you ever just closed your eyes and felt as if you were floating or flying? When you are around other members of the Family do you feel am almost unreasonable happiness or peace? That is my proof, and it is all I need.

In the late 80's, two childhood friends were personally called by God, (the Carnival) to help gather and guide these fallen angels. These young men, Joe Bruce and Joey Utsler, changed dramatically for their purpose. They became the Wicked Clowns of the Dark Carnival, Violent J the Juggla and Shaggy 2 Dope the Southwest Strangla….they became the Insane Clown Posse.

Just a year or so later the Carnival made another stop in Detroit, but in the Southwest, on the East side. The carnival had found yet another Demented Duo to help the Juggalos. Jamie Spanoilo and Paul Methric were to form the freak show of the Dark Carnival. With ghostly white faces, blacked eyes, and really odd hair, they became Jamie Madrox the Multiple Man, and The Monoxide Child. Two men who were born Twiztid!

Years ago when I began to listen to the "Wicked Shit" (a term used to describe ICP's and Twiztid's brand of music) I noticed a trend; they were speaking of a place that I saw in my dreams. They had felt the very same feeling I had felt, being totally alone until the Carnival came into their lives. But it wasn't until I heard the song "Broken Wings" by Twiztid on their album "Freek Show" that I knew for sure. "To all the angels with broken wings, rise again, fly again, and fly away! Would you fly with me? Would you die with me? Come and fly with me! Come and die with me!" I knew that it was not just me that knew that the Juggalos were not normal people, in fact that's the whole point really, not to be normal, but we really aren't even human….we are mutants, if you will.

What is a Juggalo? A juggalo is a fallen angel, for some reason unknown to us, we had to leave our beloved Shangri-La, and we have to wait until the Wraith comes to go back, but the bad news is….."If you're good you'll go to heaven, if not, you're destined to stay alive till the year 2057!" I want to die, take me to the other side, I want to die, so I can fly.
I had been listening to ALOT of Twiztid when I wrote this.
